CREDIT ANALYST

The Credit Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing financial and other information on current and potential borrowers, assessing proposed collateral and loan structure and the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of loans in compliance with to the bank’s loan policy, underwriting standards, and credit culture. The Credit Analyst will analyze financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, industry / peer information, and other financial information. In addition, the Credit Analyst will analyze the condition, value, sufficiency, and appropriateness of collateral. Prepare spreadsheets and perform mathematical calculations to assist in the analysis of data and preparation of reports. Underwrite loan requests, including new loans, and extensions, renewals, and modifications of existing loans. Review loans to assess performance, compliance with terms, and adequacy of documentation. Write Credit Memorandums, Loan Review Reports, and other reports, and present the same both verbally and in writing. Make and support recommendations pertaining to loan risk ratings, proposed loan structures and terms, and approval decisions. Represent the Bank as needed or assigned throughout the community to further enhance the Bank’s image and help develop additional business. Reinforces superior customer service by example and appropriate follow through with customers and coworkers. Fulfill other duties, functions, and responsibilities as assigned.
